Raijin's been pretty down lately, saying Fuu is going weird on him, not answer his calls and stuff.

If only the guy knew how Fuu is up to her neck planning a welcome home party for him. —That's right. My girl Fuu. Planning a party. For him.

The bastard is damned lucky. Any guy who can get Fuu is.

As I see him moping around, though, I keep having this urge to shake him up, smack him around a bit. So your girl isn't answering your calls. Tough shit. Cry me a river. Leonhart hates my guts, and I survived.

Another sunny Balamb morning. Another movie about the Second Sorceress War. Another blushing cadet asking him to sign a stupid poster.

Commander Almasy is definitely not in a good mood.

To be fair, the movie didn't make him into a caricature of evil, and even the "roguishly handsome" newcomer playing him wasn't half bad. Yet there is something fundamentally disquieting about the war being made into a movie. The things he had seen, the things he had done—certainly he never ran away from them, but he would have preferred to leave them on the dark side, where they belong.
